This cabin is cute, comfortable, and close enough to walk to the activities at the South end of the Lake. If you don't want to partake in the activities, snuggle in with a good book in front of the wood burning fireplace, or perhaps put on a game tournament on the dining room table that overlooks the Wallowa River, or take a quick walk to the trailhead for a nature hike. Queen beds in the two bedrooms, two twins in the bunkroom off of the garage. Bathroom offers a shower/tub combo. This home does not offer cable, but feel free to bring your own movies to watch on the TV/VCR/DVD that we provide!

Isn't life wonderful when we stop and RELAX???Hi Cindi! What a wonderful place. We will highly recomend you and definitely use you again. The Chinook house is awesome. We were the envy of the rest of the family.......We enjoyed every minute of our stay at Chinook # 19 and were the envy of our family. If we are lucky enough to get to the lake again, we will ask for that cabin. And we will recommend you to all of our friends who are interested in visiting that area. Dolores S. |

Dishes weren't a choreDear Cindi. We so loved our stay at Cabin #19! I have never enjoyed making dinner and doing dishes as much as I did there--with the great view of the river rushing by, it didn't seem fair to call it a chore to be in the kitchen. We had a couple of great hikes on the trails and a spectacular day visiting the Zumwalt Prairie. We hope to come back soon! Thank you for your help in getting us into such a wonderful place for our family to stay. Marie |
